I am correct that pants (pantaLOONS :P ) means trousers? The thought alone of going commando in Winter is enough to make my manhood Atrophy.

Yes. Interesting divergence in the language, no?

The Japanese borrowed the word to mean "underwear" as well: pantsu (native: shita-gi "under-wear"). "Trousers", or what I call "pants", is correctly zubon.

Except in one word for jeans, usually just jiinzu but sometimes referred to as...jii-pan.

Notably, in Chile the act of not wearing underwear has been called "andar a lo gringo" ("go about as the Americans") for decades.

I wonder what the gringos ever did to earn that reputation... :shock:

BTW, I'm not wearing anything right now, does it make you lot hot like the Wikipedia article said it should? :P
