It's Always Sunny on Arrakis - Jessica

Postby Tleszer » 30 Oct 2008 22:08

I hope you enjoy It's Always Sunny on Arrakis - Jessica. I didn't edit this too much, but if you enjoy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia then I'm sure you'll appreciate my Dune-inspired take on a typical Sunny intro...

I kept wondering when the music was going to kick in....

Worth the wait! :D

(Btw, what's the music you used in the "killing word" one?)

I don't like every writer's style; for instance, I have never been able to get through Ursula LeGuin, China Mieville, or Iain Banks, all of whom are critical darlings. —KJA

I...had written a bunch of Star Wars and X-Files books...that proved not just that I'm a hack, but that I could write in somebody else's universe... —KJA

Yeah, it is a wait for the music to kick in but hearing it play while the "Jessica" title comes up... priceless! As for the credits, well, I thought that I'd be quite ridiculous to thank certain people... and yes, I'm still a loon. :D

I used Lux Aeterna from Requiem for a Dream for the "killing word."

:D

Cheers for the music info. Hmmm...

I guess I'm going to have to learn how to do video thingies, too. Teg has been going on for MONTHS now about doing a video podcast....

(Poisonally, I don't think da woild is ready for THAT yet.)

My friend has been showing me seasons 2 and 3 of this show. It's hit or miss for me, personally, but the hits outnumber the misses. I'll definitely check this out tonight. :)

What I find interesting with the actors on the show is that Charlie and the Waitress are married in real life and Mac and Dee recently got married. The hate/ambivalence their characters show each other makes it even more hilarious.

Oh, and I recently uploaded this. SandChigger, I took your sig to heart when I made this "Sunny" vid. :D

Well now I'm afraid to have a look.

It's either gonna feature a de-digited leper who can't talk without people snickering or painfully emo goths running amok.

I will probably love it, either way. :P

It's even funnier on rural dial-up, where you get 3 seconds every 10.
Brian grunts, says "Dark" and appears to ponder his statement or make poo while the next 3 seconds load.

works very well with girls gone wild, tho.

Is it wrong that I'm using my latest video as a response to the original Paul of Dune Interview?
