but that's just a continent... unless the penguins have drafted a constitution I haven't heard about :)

I hope to God that Russia claims Antarctica like they did the North Pole.

They can't claim Antarctica. A coven of vampires are planning to move there to keep the newborn away from humans.
What fear is there in the night?
Nothing, but that which is in our own imaginations.

Oh, they wouldn't want to mess with Antarctica. Shoggoths, and all that ...

Fucking Belgians are too damned neutral. PICK A SIDE, WE'RE AT WAR! </Stephen>

Also, WOOHOO for Israel not being the most hated!

I'm still not voting until I get the "all the above&more" option.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

I reviewed this thread 'cause I couldn't remember why I had gotten started on Belgium,
but it must have some from another thread and Chaniluv just ran with it ...

BTW, tehDukester, review this thread yourself, and you will see that you did, in fact,
get cookie here, along with GamePlayer, for an outstanding Johnny Cash reference ....

fuck Belgium, anyway, tho - French or German, goddamnit, make up your mind and stick to it ...

seems like there was a Walloon Liberation Front in the early seventies, too ....

Holy guacamole, you're right! I thought I was cookie-less this whole time.

My only excuse is that I did not realize the value of the cookie at the time. I was being my usual ignorant Eastern-slope-of-the-Sierras white trash buckethead.

there was a sassy little girl on a civil war board several years ago, "JoanieReb" -
she'd post something mean, or sexy, and say Bad Joanie ! No Cookie ! ...

that evolved into X get cookie & Bad X ! No Cookie !

and, inevitably, people started posting pictures of cats - I can haz cookie now, rite? ...

but yeah, I don't fuck around with the cookie - if you get, you deserved ... it's a genuine gesture of thanks ...

Yeah, I think it was something like that, and that Israeli guy (not Orald, the other one) kept banging on about how hated Israel was, so I thought I'd put it to the test.

I can't edit the poll options now, otherwise I would have added Luxembourg.

Canada's not that great, we often mistake people not hating us as much as the US for love... plus old people in Europe apparently love us because we kicked a lot of ass in WWII... so I hear anyways, haven't been over yet.

I recall a while back the mayer of Dunkirk or something invited the US president at the time (Dubya I belive) but failed to invite the British and Canadian Primeminister because it was an "American affair" even though two thirds of the allied fighting forces were British and Canadian.

EDIT: At the time of the aniversery memorial

EDIT: Fighting forces at dunkirk

The UK, France and Belgium were the Allies who got pushed into the Atlantic at the Battle of Dunkirk. The US wasn't even involved.
