Erasmus and Duncan open up a icecream parlor

    Postby NotOnasander » 20 Jan 2012 01:30

I think Frank desired Erasmus and Duncan to open up a ice cream parlor on the Sandwich Islands, and Duncan could give birth out of a marsupial pouch birth to a cyborg baby Manion the Innocent.

Just give up already and apologize to the Herberts- they'll let you back into the site if you do. They're pretty nice people once you get to know them, Brian stays up late on skype, he'll talk your ass off.

Come on people, return back to the official forums. You did enough damage already in derailing the movie, once paramount saw this site, and how much trouble you gave the authors of Dune, who could blame them. Do the right thing, stop being a bunch of bleeding douchebags.

    That was almost funny.

Man if we really can boast derailing the movie I'd be really proud of my fellow OH, and it's not because your ass is bleeding from all the ramming from the hacks that the whole world needs to know.

    Over and out.

What is it about these ding bats that posesses them to flitter into a forum, drop a large stinking load that almost approximates relevant content, only to act offended and leave if anyone cares enough to try to find out why? The pattern is too stereotypical not to have a reason, could the answer really be as simple as drugs? Is there some form of preeq that believes such behavior is, in some way, a victory for the preeq cause?

NotOnasander? Get back Onasander. Did you know that your whole existance is based on being background for real people? You're like an extra without a speaking part in a movie, may as well be a fake rock.

Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

I think he is like sprinkles on your ice cream when you really don't want any.

Besides, bad analogy because some people actually like sprinkles.

I'm sorry, have I offended anyone? What do I have to apologize for? Pointing out mistakes? I didn't put those in the books. I didn't publish the books. I didn't derail a movie with a snide comment.

I why should I apologize, because I have standards?

I will apologize for the personal attacks, jokes about Jabbeca, etc. They'll get that apology when they apologize for lumping us in with disgruntled Star Wars fanboys and terrorists. Of course to do so they would have to admit that we have legitimate complaints about the quality of the work.

That bears repeating because its the center of the issue.

Dune deserves quality additions to its canon. Not quantity. 11 more books in the series does not equal the quality of the original.

I would trust an unknown author who says they want to make a quality book and promises to take the time to do it over a known rent-a-hack paint-by-numbers manufacturer who only cares about tying his name to Dune.
