After making a post, I am presented a screen with the options "view the post you have just submitted" and "return to board index" (or something approximating those).
Now I don't doubt that it'll do one or the other by default if I just leave it instead of clicking my preference, but is there any way I could have the settings changed so I just automatically go to the post I just made, without this intermediate screen? I just ransacked my User Control Panel and couldn't find an option that would make it so.

normally if you wait for a couple of seconds the board automatically takes you back to the message you just posted; if that doesn't happen when you wait then it probably comes from the settings of your browser

I guessed as much - actually I've been clicking "return to message just posted" because I don't have the patience to wait for it to return automatically. Same impatience that hopes there's a way to get rid of the intermediate screen altogether!

You're new here, so I'll refrain from asking you to stop making such stupid posts.

Isn't it the same over at DUMBFUCK NOVELS?
(It's been so long since I posted over there, I forget.
Same boardware, though. Except theirs is the OLD version.

Is that supposed to be a BH joke? Because that is rude and I don't approve!

DN is much slower, for some reason.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.
